With the title “The Great One” come great responsibilities. Wayne Gretzky was aware of this, and he and his wife Janet Jones welcomed five children into the world. His first child, Paulina Gretzky, is currently married to the professional golfer Dustin Johnson. Wayne has already done his part in raising his own children; now it’s on them to live.

Paulina Gretzky, the daughter of Wayne Gretzky, is a world-class model. She talked about how, in 2013, just sometime after she engaged with the professional golfer Dustin Johnson, she received an offer from Playboy. 

“I do have a Playboy story. So Dustin just remember I love you. So Playboy asked me to do you know Playboy and I was like yes it is a great opportunity. It was around 2013. Yeah they gave me an amount of number and Dustin was like ‘Absolutely not I’m going to match it you’re not doing it’” Paulina said. She described her Playboy story and how Dustin wasn’t happy with it. He was against the offer and denied it straight away. Although it would have been a great career opportunity for the emerging model, she couldn’t just go against her fiance, whom she loved so much.

Money wasn’t a thing they both bothered with, so it was reasonable for her to decline the offer. Wayne, her father, was never opposed to any of her decisions. Wayne had always supported her every single time while she was growing up.

Growing up as the first child of the Great One wasn’t easy on Paulina. As a result, people had high expectations of her, which she never liked. She desired to live her life free of constraint in all circumstances.

Her father was a sports icon and her mother was a Hollywood actress; her life was full of fame, but she always tried to find herself. After trying a lot of things, including sports, she decided to get into modeling and acting just like her mother. Recently she married the professional golfer Dustin Johnson, and now she is still working on a lot of things.
