Former captain of the Vancouver Canucks, Bo Horvat has had a roller coaster of a month. Within a few weeks, Horvat went from being traded to the New York Islanders to having his contract extended to eight years for a whopping $8.5 million. The former NHL superstar, though, seems to be enjoying his newfound position on the Islanders after scoring his first goal for the club in their most recent game against the Seattle Kraken.

The New York Islanders’ supremacy was on display against the Seattle Kraken. The squad is dead set on making the Stanley Cup Playoffs and will do whatever it takes to move up the standings (from sixth to at least third) to do it. Recently, the YouTube channel Glovey McGlovin posted an interview with Bo Horvat in which the forward discussed his thoughts on scoring in his second game with the Islanders.

The former Canucks captain will play a very particular role for the New York Islanders. The Islanders made the trade for Bo Horvat because they believe he will help them reach the playoffs for the Stanley Cup.
