Gavin McKenna has a fantastic head coach in Ken Anderson, proving that not all potential is innate. Anderson has coached McKenna for a whole season and is happy to watch him develop into an NHL prospect.
However, Anderson didn’t only show his gratitude to the prospect, as he also gave good remarks for the rest of the team, saying, “It’s the rest of the boys too. It’s really a privilege to coach them as well. A lot of good, good hockey players and a lot of good people, too.” Anderson said that the Yukon had produced many skilled hockey players throughout the years and that he hoped McKenna would serve as an inspiration to kids in less populous provinces of the state.
