According to the Detroit Free Press’s report, Yzerman said in the interview that he was disappointed by the turn of events since he “missed a lot of time due to injury,” which prevented him from playing in more than 30 games the previous season. According to Yzerman, Zadina will have the “opportunity” to “go somewhere to an organization if he wants to play more,” and he said, “I’ve tried to find a place for him to play.” The future of the 23-year-old Czech NHL player with the Detroit Red Wings is now undetermined as negotiations are still ongoing.
