Kelly Slater though merciless in the ocean, he has a soft spot for his daughter Taylor. Taylor Slater is the only daughter of Kelly Slater and Tamara Mitchell and was born in 1996. Slater’s bitterness over not being able to see his daughter grow up properly has not affected their relationship.

Slater recently shared a photo of himself and his daughter from her wedding day, on his Instagram story. Taylor can be seen wearing a beautiful white dress as her father wears a black suit. By the look of it, anyone could assume it’s a big day for his daughter and him too.

The surfing icon reposted photographer Rachel Fosbenner’s story and said, “My daughter had a beautiful wedding in Florida recently. Proud dad moment.” The whole wedding was covered by Fosbenner, who has posted multiple pictures from the event on her Instagram. The first picture that was shared showed the groom kissing the bride. It was followed by all the wedding decorations, and finally the picture of Slater and his daughter.

Kelly Slater is yet to retire from his beloved sport. In the meantime, however, the surfer is focusing on his family.

At the wedding, Slater’s girlfriend, and co-founder of MIKOH, Kalani Miller was also present. The surfer and the model have been dating for 15 years but have yet to announce their big day.

Miller did reveal the main reason she fell in love with Slater, which was because of his dedication to the sport. Slater, being both the youngest and the oldest World Surf League (WSL) champion, has anchored his position at the top of the game.
