Lindsey Vonn shared her story in the interview

The athlete recently found a treatment that works for her issue. This treatment has helped her achieve better sleep and good health. She said. In the interview she said “I really started to struggle with my sleep, and it became this downward spiral where I just had a lot of anxiety. And it just kept getting worse and worse,” she said. “And, obviously, I?ve had my share of surgeries in my life. So, the compounding effect of all those things really was not helpful for me and my sleep patterns.

Aside from her personal struggles, Vonn was recently honored with induction into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame. She used the opportunity to honor her mother, who suffers from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). She mentioned that her family is doing their best to support her mother during this difficult time. In her memoir, “Rise?My Story,” she previously discussed her decades-long battle with depression. She mentioned the challenges of retiring from skiing as well, which she did in 2019 following a crash and multiple injuries.

Vonn’s little collaboration might change American’s insomnia

After taking a brief break from skiing, Vonn shared that she has reconciled with the sport and is back on the slopes. Her partnership with Idorsia, a pharmaceutical company, is aimed at raising awareness about insomnia. They encourage people to seek treatment, she has taken a great part in promoting it. Vonn and actor Taye Diggs are promoting a drug called Quviviq, which has helped Vonn find relief from her insomnia.
