Three-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White hung up his gloves this year. The most decorated Olympic and X-Games snowboarder, White retired after the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Even though he was sad to retire from the sport after such a decorated career, White is certainly enjoying retirement. In fact, he even made a bucket list of things he never got to do and is finally getting around to checking things off it.

Additionally, Shaun has been able to find more time to spend with his romantic partner, Nina Dobrev. The two have been spending a lot more time together, and their respective social media accounts are testament.

Nina Dobrev and Shaun White have been spending a lot more time together. After all, White’s calendar, which would otherwise have been busy all year long, is finally looking free.

The couple has been enjoying time in Costa Rica, having taken a trip. In fact, with just a cursory glance at both their social media profiles, it is clear that the two are having the time of their lives.

White just posted a string of pictures with Nina Dobrev where the two went horseriding. They were clearly enjoying their time riding horses in the hills. Well, at least until feeding time came along.

In one of the videos, White posted, a horse Nina is trying to feed spit into her hand. “Ew, it’s all over my sweater,” Nina exclaimed before smiling and continuing to feed her horse.

Even more hilariously, it is Shaun’s reaction to the moment which is quite laugh-worthy. The 35-year-old looks flabbergasted, scared, and disgusted all at the same time while looking like he’s holding in a laugh too.

Wedding bells could soon be ringing for White and Dobrev

Now that Shaun White is a retired athlete, he has the time for leisure. Moreover, there’s a burning question that all his fans have had in their minds for years now.

In a recent interview, when asked whether or not a marriage is on the horizon, Shaun replied positively. “I would love (to), at some point,” White replied.

Then, he described his relationship with Nina Dobrev, which has been going on for three years now, as “a wonderful relationship”. “So, we’ll see where it goes,” White stated.
