Halloween is one of the most spooky yet important festivals celebrated in the west. Moreover, people dress up in spine-chilling costumes and go trick-or-treating to houses decorated with pumpkins and more. Notably, every year the event is celebrated widely in several countries on the 31 of October.

The festival originated almost 2000 years ago. Observed on the last day of October, Halloween marks the end of summer. The festival witnesses people dressing up in spooky costumes. Moreover, children also go from door-to-door collecting candies and chocolates as a reward for their adorable yet scary costumes.

Notably, athletes and entities all around the world also dress up in fun costumes. This year, Usain Bolt, Shaun White, and Allyson Felix had some interesting outfits on display.

Known for his fun spirit and humorous personality, Olympic Legend, Usain Bolt also celebrated this day. He shared a few clips of himself, making his fans crazy by revealing his outfit. He dressed up as a priest. The athlete was even seen lip-syncing and dancing.

Coming to the American professional snowboarder, Shaun White, his costume of the day was quite exceptional. He and his partner, famous Hollywood actress Nina Dobrev, dressed up resembling the characters of ‘The Queen’s Gambit’. Stunned by their outfits, many fans and athletes expressed their excitement in the comment section. Shaun White decked up as Beth Harmon from the popular series, while Nina Dobrev dressed up as Benny Watts.

Allyson Felix, one of the most decorated Olympians, also celebrated Halloween. She had quite an interesting costume to celebrate the festival.  She posted pictures with her daughter, Camryn, in not a very spooky but rather interesting costume. Both wore a checked skirt paired with a jacket on top. Felix took inspiration from the famous 90’s movie ‘Clueless’ for her outfit.

“Do you prefer fashion victim or ensemble challenged?” the athlete captioned her Instagram post.

LeBron James and other athletes celebrate Halloween

Halloween this year has taken over all the biggest sports icons, who celebrated the festival with their supernatural looks and costumes.

Lebron James, the American basketball legend dressed up as Freddy Krueger from ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street.’ Meanwhile, Paul Pogba, the French footballer showed up as a skeleton while Neymar, the Brazilian football star decided to dress as the Day of the Dead sugar skull.
