Her immense success on the pitch drove huge money towards her off it. Many well-known brands signed sponsorship deals with the American forward, who emerged as a popular sporting icon in the nation. Morgan is the fourth highest goalscorer in USWNT history

Many across the world hold Morgan in high regard for her impressive performances on the pitch. In 188 appearances for the USWNT, the 32-year-old scored a stunning tally of 114 goals. This places her in fifth on the all-time goalscorers list behind Abby Wambach (184), Mia Hamm (158), her teammate Lloyd (134) and Kristine Lilly (130).

Along with this piece of history, Morgan claimed several individual honors. She won the silver boot in the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2019 by scoring six goals in the tournament. Furthermore, the 32-year-old also won the CONCACAF Player of the Year on four occasions.

However, her success with the USWNT left an everlasting impression on fans of the game. She won two women’s World Cups in 2015 and 2019, and also won gold in the 2012 London Olympics. The 32-year-old also played for several clubs in the National Women’s Super League, and played briefly for English club Tottenham Hotspur.
