100 Thieves released a nostalgic video on its official YouTube channel detailing Valkyrae’s journey from a creator to a co-owner. The video had an inspiring message for all the females or women of color trying to make it big in gaming. Regardless, she is often a victim of blatant sexism across social media.
Valkyrae recently posted a tweet addressing all the hateful comments she has been getting lately. Most of them have been accusing her of becoming a co-owner of 100 Thieves merely because she is a woman.

Valkyrae chooses to ignore all her haters
This is not the first time people have accused Valkyrae of being successful because she’s a female creator. Moreover, she certainly knows that this would also not be the last time. Rae has yet to achieve multiple milestones, and she’s constantly grinding to stay at the top. Therefore, at every milestone she achieves, there will always be haters to downplay her success.

“TDLR; easiest way to become a co-owner of a multimillion $ company is to have tits”
these types of comments downplaying success because of who you are will continue FOREVER, no matter what

Valkyrae aims to set an example for all those who look up to her. From a time when she struggled to manage even a thousand live viewers following her switch to YouTube, to becoming the ‘Content Creator of the Year’ at The Game Awards 2020, Rae has come a really long way. Throughout this journey, her loyal fans have supported her unconditionally, and she wished to respond in a similar manner.

Valkyrae being at the helm of 100 Thieves means not only big plans for herself but also the organization. With a female creator leading one of the biggest esports organizations, a lot more chances will open up for diversity in gaming.
