Valorant Act 3 is now and has brought with it a lot of changes to the game. Along with a new agent, some bug fixes and competitive changes were also released to stabilize the game. Although, according to this Reddit post, Sova’s drone ability is extremely broken and can be exploited on several maps.

Agent Sova’s drone ability lets players scout an area from a distance. This comes in quite handy to get information about the enemy’s location on the map. Although, a potentially game-breaking bug related to the drone is at large, which allows the drone to phase through the ground.
Valorant has a game-breaking bug thanks to Sova’s drone ability
A Redditor found 8 such locations where the drone could go out of bounds on Haven, Bind, and Ascent. The first two were on Haven where one spot is on the Defenders entrance to site A. The other one is near the B site connector.
Bind has the most broken spots with 5 on the map. Each location game access to mid, site A or site B. In addition to this, it was also possible to ping objects from the out of bounds drone. Finally, the last one was found on Ascent at site A.
This made the rounds on Reddit, where a Riot developer spotted and responded to the post. He commented, “Thanks for the video, well look at fixing these for the next patch coming up.”
Although, the next patch may take a while considering the developers already have their hands full. It is possible that Riot addresses this and decides to release a hotfix of sorts. But it is highly unlikely to happen at this point. Nevertheless, this was a great spot by Redditor Vehementtoast and has helped the players and the developers alike.
Valorant’s Act 3 also added a new Icebox map to the pool. So far, the map has managed to impress the community with its unique combat opportunities. Additionally, players are also able to zipline across areas that add to the fun. The map also earned some praise from popular streamer Shroud.
So far, Act 3 has done pretty well in terms of keeping the players satisfied. Hopefully, there are more skins, game modes, and maps in store in the near future.
