Now, aiming and mouse control develops over time and with practice. We hate to break it to you, but it is the only thing that can help you truly develop. As for Valorant, you can try out their practice range, although we suggest using third-party aim labs.

Aim labs are simple to use, and both beginners and pros can use them. They simulate various shootout situations and offer a variety of levels and types of training.

Valorant How-To: control, flick, and track

Learning how to control your mouse is very important. Make it a point to always keep your aim moving so that you avoid any blind spots during movement. And always watch your 6.

Moreover, keeping your aim mobile keeps you prepared to shoot quickly in case of a surprise from the opponent. Set your aim sensitivity precisely by employing multiple trials and then settling on the most suitable one.

A “flick” is a more advanced tactic and takes longer to master. Not to mention it depends on luck too at times. A flick, as the name explains, is when you swiftly move your aim on an opponent and immediately take your shot. All this needs to be done extremely fast, and we suggest not losing heart if you don’t manage to get it correct right away. It does require a good deal of practice.

Technical tips to help you aim better

  • Try to avoid using ADS. You can customize your crosshair to your ease in order to make this easier. Use ADS when the opponent is at a distance (obviously), or unless you cannot manage without it.
  • As for weapons, avoid Vandal if you are not confident about your aim just yet. Although a marksman rifle, the Vandal has quite a substantial recoil. If you prefer your fights from a range, use a sniper instead.
  • In lieu of the previous point, you can never go wrong with Phantom. It has already earned a name for it as a pretty balanced AR, and you have better chances of winning a fight if you use this.

Well, that is all for now, folks! Keep an eye on this space for further Valorant tips and tricks.
