Valorant has become one of the finest tactical shooter games to have released in a long time. The owner of G2 eSports has admitted to something similar in a recent interview with ESPN.
Carlos ‘Ocelote’ Rodriguez Santiago opined that Valorant is a step ahead of its rival, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He continued by saying Valorant will “end up destroying, in terms of numbers of people playing the game, Counter-Strike, because in Counter-Strike, the only thing you have going for you is the mechanics and I love the game to death, I really do.”
Carlos believes that the inactivity around content creation will eventually be the reason behind Counter Strike’s downfall.
