Riot Games has been trying hard to make the competitive gameplay experience of Valorant as close to perfection as it can get. The company has been pushing the tactical FPS hard to build a competitive ecosystem at par with its iconic MMORPG title League of Legends. Honestly, Valorant features a certain level of balance in its agent abilities as well as its weapon rotation and has one of the most effective anti-cheat systems out there. Those who are aware of the state of anti-cheat systems in other titles know that this is no mean feat. For a while now, players have been demanding 5-stacks in competitive Valorant gameplay. This has been a persistent demand from the player community, especially since 5-stacking is not available in the higher ranks. Currently, players can join the competitive matchmaking queue with only one selected teammate.

This often leads to some issues since playing with players you do not have a synergy with can have disastrous results. This becomes a more acute issue in ranked competitive lobbies since the stakes are much higher. However, a Riot Games dev has assured that the inclusion of 5-stacks in competitive is currently in the works.
