Vampire: The Masquerade Franchise to Get a Battle Royale Title

Sharkmob has just announced its first major project since its inception in 2017. The studio revealed that it is working on a Battle Royale set in the universe of Vampire: The Masquerade.
Alas, that’s all the information known about the upcoming battle royale. Sharkmob has kept an official title and supported platforms under wraps for now. But the studio has clarified that it plans to release the title in the latter half of 2021.
This comes as exciting news for the fans as any new titles accompanying the new consoles would make the most of the new hardware and enhance the gaming experience.

A Battle Royale set in the Universe of Vampire: The Masquerade
Sharmob’s website has revealed that a couple of titles are in development. The studio cites the Battle Royale to be “A thrilling take on a cult classic IP.”
They will base the Battle Royale in the universe of Vampire: The Masquerade where vampires collide in the streets of Prague.

However, that’s not it. The website also mentions that two other AAA titles are also under development. It seems like the studio has been working hard on these titles since 2017 and chose the launch of the consoles as the right time to give an update to the fans.
“These are highly ambitious, AAA quality projects powered by the Unreal Engine. One is developed with Malmö as lead studio and the other by London. It is no secret that we love action-packed, online, social experiences – so it is safe to say that these games contain such elements.”

The following months after the launch of the consoles is going to be pretty exciting for the fans. Crytek, the studio responsible for the Crysis franchise, has had a rough couple of years. But it delivered some exciting news recently too. The studio is also working on a Battle Royale game that might roll out ‘sometime soon’.
