Manchester United finished 4 last season, after an embarrassing season under David Moyes who led The Red Devils to 7 after Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure.
United have had a void since his departure but Ryan Giggs says that the new manager is a lot like him. He is presently no. 2 to the Dutchman and says that he has learned a lot during the first year of Van Gaal’s reign.

“It was nothing new in terms of the detail, the hunger, the professionalism, the experience.” Giggs told the Sunday Times.
“I’d seen the same with Sir Alex. But there were little innovations that you’re seeing for the first time as a coach, where you thought ‘that’s brilliant’. And just the overall experience. Especially the big games.”
Giggs also mentioned United’s transfer targets will be ‘winners’ as they’re looking forward to get some silverware to The Theatre Of Dreams next season.
