Clearly, there a lot of players who have signed up for the Top Seed Open. Many, if not all, have decided to play the event because they want to warm-up for the US Open.

Sadly, others are not sure of the US Open because of the many restrictions that’ll be imposed on them during the event. On the other hand, Serena and Venus Williams have already confirmed their participation, which makes for some great news.

Venus is surely preparing to do something she has not done in a long time- win a Grand Slam. Her last Major came at the Wimbledon in 2008, where she beat her sister Serena in the final. Perhaps, she will be able to win her 8th Grand Slam title at this year’s US Open. Although, she will have to fight Serena for it, who is on the hunt for her 24th Major.
