Venus Williams and Rafael Nadal are currently in Mexico to participate in the star-studded Acapulco Open. While an in-form Nadal is looking to add another title to his name, an out of touch Venus is looking at the twilight of her career.

Well, even though they are at different phases of their career, it doesn’t mean they can’t have fun together. A sneaky Venus Williams was seen stealing a selfie with the Spanish star as they both were on the court for some practice. Venus later posted the same on her Instagram account.

What made it funny and adorable at the same time was that Venus could have simply asked Rafa for a selfie. However, she went for a fangirl move and got a sneaky click that had Instagram drooling over the two.

In fact, even Serena chipped in with a comment, writing “Lol Love”.

How Does The Field At Acapulco Open Look For Venus Williams And Rafael Nadal?

Venus Williams has been seeded fifth in the tournament. For the American, it will basically be another attempt to reinstate her lost legitimacy. She will face Slovenian player Kaja Juvan in the first round. Venus was last seen at the Australian Open, where she lost to 15-year-old Coco Gauff in straight sets.

Talking about Rafa, he faces a very interesting field. We could be in for some great matches throughout his campaign. In the second round, he’s expected to face a returning Alex De Minaur.
