In a recent interview with Submission Radio, Adesanya described one such incident when he was at the post-victory celebration of his debut win.

“At my post-fight party where I had my good c**t [sic] t-shirt on. And I can see this guy kinda like circling me and he came up to the side talking to me. And there’s this girl filming. I was like, ‘Okay, that’s off’. As he’s talking to me, I can see that he’s gearing up for something. And he’s like, ‘So, what [message] do you think your t-shirt sends to your younger fans. What kind of message does that send?’ And I was like, ‘Cool’. I got him on the ropes!”

He already knew what the fan was up to. A mischievous lad himself, Adesanya decided to have some fun. Everybody knew he made a mark in his debut fight. And everyone saw the havoc he wreaked inside the Octagon. Adesanya decided to use it to his advantage. He said,

“I was like, ‘Right. So, these young fans you’re talking about, right? The good c**t t-shirt’s a bad message, okay? So, what do they know me for? They know me for fighting, yes?’, and he’s like, ‘yes’. I’m like, ‘Okay, cool. And they just watched me beat the f**k outta someone for two rounds and he was bleeding and spitting blood everywhere. Even on myself. And I had to beat the f**k outta him until the referee dragged my off him.’ And I could see he was trying to backtrack. I said, ‘So, what do you think is doing more damage? Me beating the f**k out of a guy? Almost murdering him? Or having a good c**t t-shirt?’ I f***ing verbally assaulted him, made him a joke in front of everyone.”

Consequently, the fan started dancing around the question. Of course, one loses courage when a deadly fighter practically scares him just after causing devastation inside the Octagon. Of course, the video never left its source to venture onto the internet. And that’s something that did not really make Adesanya happy!
