VIDEO: Simone Biles Reacts to a Heartfelt Video Sent by a Baby Fan

Simone Biles is in Tokyo for the Tokyo Olympics 2020. While she practices her routines, she is getting lots of support from the USA. Biles is loved so much that she even has young fans who cheer up when they see her photo.

A video was making rounds on the internet, in which a baby fan of Simone Biles was looking over at a portrait of Biles. As the gymnast was smiling in the cut-out, the baby also candidly returned the smile to the photo. This adorable moment caught the eye of several netizens and eventually reached Biles.

Biles was in awe with the video and was happy to see baby fan have that moment. She tweeted – “how precious, my heart. Videos like this will never get old!”

Simone Biles’ injury woes ahead of Tokyo Olympics 2020

Biles is just 24 and heading into her second Olympics in Tokyo. She is a huge favorite to win a lot of medals in the Japanese capital and many are excited about the prospect. However, recently she was revealed to be dealing with a niggling injury that has troubled her since 2019.

“I just think I re-irritated those ligaments and so right now what we’re dealing with is I just have a lot of fluid built up in there. There’s nothing we can do at this point, it’s like we don’t have time for us. We don’t have time for shots and all that stuff. So, tape it is. I always pray. And I’m like ‘Okay, just please let me survive these 11 weeks,’”  Simone said.

The injury isn’t serious now but there were lots of tape on the right ankle when she participated in the Olympic trials. Everybody will be hoping that no other problems come in Biles’ way to more Olympic glory. The American gymnast is one of the greatest ever and could become one of the few gymnasts to have won medals at consecutive Olympic games.
