VIDEO: When “Cowboy” Donald Cerrone Knocked Out Jim Miller in UFC 45

Around 4000 people at the Revel Casino in New Jersey directly witnessed the “Cowboy,” Donald Cerrone, knockout Jim Miller.

The fight between Cerrone and Miller was the main event of the UFC fight night 45 on July 16, 2014.

Cerrone was coming into the night with a three-fight winning streak on his back. Likewise, Miller was coming into the fight having won the last two via first-round submissions and three of his last four.

Cerrone managed to win his fourth consecutive fight with a thunderous head kick to knock Miller out in the second round. Miller, in fact, looked good in the first round but the cowboy dominated right from the start of the second round and finished the match at 3:31 mark in the second round.

Currently, Cerrone is ranked fifth in the UFC Lightweight rankings. He was initially a kickboxer who is now signed with the UFC. He has not yet lost in his Kickboxing career with an impressive 28-0-1 record, with 19 of the wins coming via Knockouts.

In UFC, the Cowboy has won more matches than any other person (22). He is also tied for the most number of appearances (33). His Mixed Martial Arts career looks impressive with 50 appearances in all. He has a record of 36-13 in MMA.

2020 will mark his 18th year as a pro fighter. He started in 2002 as a part of the Inyodo Martial Arts Club team. Later, he joined the Jackson Wink MMA academy before coming to terms with BMF Ranch in 2018.

Cerrone currently lives in Denver, Colorado- the place where he was born. He also has a property in Edgewood, New Mexico. Cerrone had previously established an MMA gym at the property to lower his training camp costs by hosting his training partners at the estate.
