While we assume the golf course to be the one reflecting sobriety and composure, things can turn dramatic, too. In an absurd turn of events, a video popped up online where people were seen fighting, hitting, and punching each other at the Bailey Ranch Golf Course in Owasso. There’s a tremendous uproar on the internet over this disturbing video.

TJ Eckert, the Sports Director at KTUL, an ABC affiliate in Tulsa, Oklahoma, tweeted this video saying he received it that morning. Apparently, the people playing golf on the fateful day were former MMA fighters. This seems to be a perfect example of cross-sports going wrong.

This seems to have not been received well by the kids and their parents, especially their mum. To make things worse, the dads also enter the scene and what we see is awkwardness to the next level.

As per the second context, also tweeted by TJ Eckert, the kids were told to watch out by the golfers. The housemates, however, made a joke out of it, which infuriated one of the former MMA fighters who cussed out the kids and the mum. This led the dads to come out and ‘stand up for their woman and kids.’ And this began the whole scuffle.

There was some nasty hitting and punching seen in the video, and we don’t know who started the brawl. And while we don’t know which side to take, the internet has dropped into a shock and the comments were equally conspicuous.

One Twitter user questioned the very essence of the game.

While another user expressed concern about the entire episode and spoke about having a gun and understanding Oklahoma Law.

The Golf Course may not be that sober after all

Fights on the Golf course have been turning heads in recent times. A month ago, a similar fight broke out at Cleveland Heights Golf Course in Lakeland, Central Florida. The issue happened over a traffic jam on the 16th hole within two foursomes. Matters escalated in the blink of an eye when there was a war of words between the two parties after the play times got delayed. And what ensued was nothing short of martial arts and right on the golf course.

There have been no reports of injuries or arrests as of now. The Bailey Ranch Golf Course is known for its architectural excellence. It’s disheartening to see such instances spoiling the very spirit of the game.
