Glen Gibson, a Victorian and father of two, was out on his morning ride when tragedy struck for the cyclist. He was riding down on Beach Rd, near Charman Rd., in Cheltenham, when an unidentified vehicle violently crashed into him. A video of the brutal accident was available online, and users expressed great shock and couldn’t believe he made it out alive.

The impact of the crash was so severe that it shattered the window of the passenger seat in front. The driver of the car escaped immediately and left Gibson on his own. His friend Rob informed the media that he fractured three vertebrae in his back.
