Predictions for the Austrian MotoGP 2023

Making predictions for the Austrian Grand Prix will not be a straightforward task. Following the chaos of Silverstone, the table has stirred up a lot of surprises.

Ducati and local company KTM have enjoyed a lot of success at the Red Bull Ring. In fact, the previous five races have had winners only from these two teams. Table topper and reigning champion Francesco Bagnaia loves racing on this track and left the track victorious in the last season, is most definitely in contention.

With a comfortable lead over the second-placed Jorge Martin, Bagnaia will walk into the race confident but must not lower his guard. Martin has an impressive record on this track and enjoys his time in Styria.

A victory here for the Spanish racer could very well open the competition further.

KTM rider Brad Binder too will fancy his chances at the home turf and will most definitely take some confidence from their performances in the past. The 2021 Austria GP delivered one of the most nail-biting finishes and Binder’s all-time performance.

Another racer that could throw a surprise is the Italian stalwart Marco Bezzecchi. After a horrible mistake cost him 20 points at Silverstone, he will be looking to make a statement in a season where he almost seems unstoppable!
