It was Game 4 of the league championship series for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Philadelphia Phillies. The Diamondbacks were down two runs to the Phillies in the eighth inning of the game.

Pinch hitter Alek Thomas smashed a two-run home to bring the game to a tie, and they eventually ended the game with a nail-biting 6-5 victory. The final moments of the game were truly cinematic as the ball flew into the stands at full speed. A lucky Diamondbacks fan dove for the catch and fell straight into the pool.
