Boxing has a penchant for throwing surprises when one least expects it. Take Francis Ngannou knocking down Tyson Fury for example. But it’s not always the underdog taking the fight to the champion that gets you. Sometimes, it is just random bizarre incidents that happen in the middle of the ring.

This encounter between Martin Bakole and Carlos Takam on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is a prime example of that. During the course of the fight, Bakole felt stung by something but it wasn’t a jab to the chin. But, it wasn’t Takam who was moving like a butterfly and stinging like a bee.
