The crux of the issue lies in the ever-growing space crunches in cities like Mumbai. Dadkar Maidan, being a local cricket ground, grapples with time limitations and space constraints that propel them to organize multiple cricket matches at the same time. However, opting for this choice, due to the lack of space, compromises the quality of the game. As tragically evidenced, it also poses threats to cricketers.

Cricket enthusiasts often follow the passion they share for the game even if it means compromising their safety. Hence, the need of the hour is to prioritize safety, keeping in mind the prevalent logistical challenges.

With this accident, the Dadkar Maidan, often associated as a symbol of joy and camaraderie, transformed into a site of an irreversible tragedy.
