A 27-year-old cyclist, Nathan van Hooydonck, got involved in a brutal accident recently. There were concerns about his health by his supporters. He encountered a tragic accident along with his wife. The mishap took place near Antwerp. The car which the cyclist was handling, suddenly went out of control leading to fatal consequences.

However, recently some good news came in about his health. According to the teammates and reports, he is considered to be in good condition and out of danger.

Nathan escapes a fatal encounter

After suffering a horrific accident that was witnessed by his pregnant wife, Nathan and his health finally give up some good news. It is a relief to his supporters and the cycling world.

There were reports of some serious injuries sustained. However, his teammate later announced that he was finally “awake and okay”. In his own words, he mentioned, “We just heard on the team radio that Nathan is awake and is okay, that’s what we were hoping for,” “I hope he is watching … this victory is for him.”

An explanation, in brief, was provided by his team Jumbo-Visma, “Nathan Van Hooydonck is awake and [did not] suffer injuries because of the traffic accident earlier today. His health situation is not critical.”

Not everyone is as lucky as Nathan to escape accidents with minimal effects. The way his car went out of control in the street traffic of Belgium could have really turned deadly for him. There has been a helicopter accident in the past which claimed the life of a legend.
