Voyage from cheerleaders to competitors

Previously, the participating mothers were always seen cheering for their sons from the gallery and this occasion marked the return to their field not as enthusiastic spectators but as players. Swapping their pompoms with jerseys, helmets and other safety gear, the mother brigade became all prepped up to tackle challenges posed by the gridiron.

While the players took a break from the regular practice sessions, the mothers seized the opportunity to join their sons sharing memorable and fun moments. From the Instagram video, it is visible that the idea behind the impromptu scrimmage transpired on the occasion when one of the moms challenged her son to take hold of a one-to-one tackling duel.

Even after knocking their sons down, they ensured to extend their hand to pick their sons up emphasizing the true sportsman spirit extending beyond rivalry and scoreboard.
