Pecco Bagnaia has been on a quest to clinch the title in the recent Malaysian GP. His performance so far has been very impressive, as he secured the pole position while clocking a 1:57.491 lap record. However, during his race, an unexpected incident caused quite a problem for the Italians. 

Bagnaia’s Moto GP culinary debacle 

A fascinating video saw Pecco Bagnaia cruising through the tracks. He looked determined to clinch victory, evident from his sharp twists and turns on the track. However, as the Italian racer was about to go for another important turn, a food packet flew in and latched onto the bike’s fairing. This sudden distraction caused a lot of problems for the rider. As a MotoGP racer, one has to remain immensely focused in the race. One mistake or lapse can not only cost a racer victory but can sometimes be even life-threatening. 

However, Pecco Bagnaia displayed tremendous character during the race. Even after the sudden culinary debacle, Bagnaia remained calm and focused. He went on with his race unfazed. Ultimately, he did take the pole, but such an incident amidst a live race is surely not a good advertisement for the tournament.
