Levin also claimed that Megan Markle would meet up with her husband to close the games in Germany. This means she won’t be joining him in the UK. The Duchess had attended the last two events but has opted out this time. Levin explains this move as Markle being cognizant that she is not very well-liked in Britain.
Opposition to Harry and Markle
Levin said that Markle is set to talk about courage and resilience, which is also a point of contention among the ex-veterans participating in the event. The opposition to Markle’s address is due to the fact that many see her speech to be inauthentic as someone who has not had to go through many moments that needed courage and resilience in her rather sheltered life. In comparison, the veterans have had to face grave mental and physical injuries.
