Running a marathon or surfing for a noble cause is common among humans. However, taking inspiration from their masters, the canine pups took part in a surfing competition. The 18th annual Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon took place in California at the Del Mar Dog Beach. This delightful event brought together more than 50 surfing dogs, also known as “SurFURs”.
The pups hopped on the surfboards and road across the waves to raise for their orphaned four-legged friends. Helen Woodward Animal Center, a welfare organization taking care of orphaned pets arranged the event.
