Hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj sent the internet in frenzy last night. Dressed up as a character from the game ‘Streetfighter’, Nicki posted a video of her engaging in a small boxing routine. While the routine seemed quite easy, it was the outfit and look of the famous rapper that caught everybody’s attention.

The rapper posted the video on her Instagram account and is seen performing the boxing routine in an all blue outfit and white bandana on her head. She even practices the high kick multiple times throughout the video.
She posted a different video on her twitter account, giving fans a complete peek into her training session.

The caption suggests that Nicki is responding to her naysayers with full confidence, much like a street fighter. Users were quick to point out how she resembled “Chun Li” a character from the game “Streetfighter”.

The user very cleverly used the lyrics of Nicki Minaj’s songs and compared it with Chun Li the character. The photo in the tweet almost makes it seem like they’re the same person and the internet definitely enjoyed itself.
The US based rapper was most recently spotted at the premiere of the movie “Barbie”. Nicki has collaborated with trending artist Ice Spice for the song “Barbie World” which is the film end title track. Also known as the “Queen of Rap”, they considered Nicki Minaj being an all time female rapper because of her influence and sheer record. They ranked her the top selling female rapper of the 2010s.
The outfit and the video were a great throwback and tribute for the “Streetfighter” fans and Nicki Minaj’s fans witnessed the fun loving and jovial side of their beloved rapper.
