Skateboarding as a recreational activity definitely appeals to the younger jazzy generation. Proving this point, we have a young man with the TikTok handle @tannernapper who has redefined the meaning of juggling. He got tattooed while skateboarding down a mountain. Evading all risks, this man strides his way on the skateboard all with a smile on his face. The tattoo artist skates just beside him and puts the tattoo on his bare body.

The video which has popped up on Twitter through Buddyhead has invited some mixed reactions from people. They talk about the risks associated with doing something out-of-place like this while on a skateboard.

How was this fine act of balance achieved?

Kudos to @tannernapper and his friend Feine, who was apparently tattooing for the first time. The super duo aced the whole balancing act. There were vehicles coming on the same road, so they had to be mindful of that as well. And @tannernapper had to face the brunt of the tattoo too, while on the wheels. We see both of them having a great time while performing this exceptional activity.

Let’s see how the internet has received this idea of tattooing while skateboarding. A few Instagram users talked about Fiene sporting the gloves, which was a good move, as it protected the pencil from slipping off. Secondly, there are talks of sanitation since it’s a tattoo in question. People also expressed their disappointment over the tattoo output that is not so artistic after all. According to another Instagram user, one pebble on the road and the story might be different. The safety aspect is definitely not to be taken with a pinch of salt here.

Skateboarding started with just basic wheels being attached to boards. Eventually, the youth picked it up at a tender age. They would try varying tricks on it, making it very different from mainstream sports. Slowly, advanced skateboards with better foot space and maneuverable construction were invented. We could see an entire subculture of punk rock now making skateboarding their passion.

Skateboarding was approved in the Olympics only in August 2016. It saw its debut in the Summer Olympics in 2020 in Tokyo, Japan. They held four events for medals. They provided the same conditions for men and women to maintain equality. There were 80 spots in the quota available for skateboarding.

Skateboarding sure seems like a creative sport. There are different ways in which we can attune it to match our imaginations. And we just saw one, but safety needs to be prioritized for sure.
