A Twitter video depicts a JD Sports security guard taking on a group of suspected shoplifters solo. This brawl has taken place at the Westfield Stratford City in England where people witnessed a lot of violence live.

The internet is widely applauding the security officer who stood up against these hooligans. The main issue with shoplifting is that the culprits feel they can get away with it. It’s only when security intervenes that the perpetrators can be taught a lesson.

What happened at Westfield Stratford City?

A video was posted on Twitter, by ‘Seeing is Believing.’ It showed a security guard being outnumbered by three to four men, with a lot of shouting and pleading. The security person looked composed as he faced this tall task. No amount of threats or physical abuse or swearing deterred him from the punishment he dished out. We see a lot of headbutts, punches, and hits delivered by the security personnel. And towards the end, we see one of the alleged shoplifters refusing to let go of the security and clinging to him like glue.

It’s quite shocking to see that no one, absolutely no one, offered to help the security guard. This is so not expected, especially when things could have turned gruesome and ugly after a point. And the security was all alone in the task. There’s also a woman’s voice heard in the background, pleading with the security guard to stop the scene.
