Jake Paul’s fiancée, Jutta Leerdam, etched her name in history after winning a gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics. With that achievement, whenever she advises on sports, it’s expected that people will listen if they want to succeed. However, that didn’t happen with a viral streamer who refused her advice.

Jutta Leerdam took part in the Celsius charity soccer league alongside influencers like Marlon Garcia and Sara Safari, who were her teammates. While the influencers were busy recording content during the practice session for their social platforms, Jake Paul’s partner seemed more focused on training. Garcia and Safari sensed that Leerdam was more serious and didn’t appreciate the filming. So when viral streamer Garcia asked her for some advice, she gave an honest response, which he didn’t take well.
“Put the cameras away, focus on the ball, and score,” Leerdam told Marlon Garcia.
Well, it’s not entirely clear why she asked the influencers to take the cameras away when they were there to create content. But it might stem from her recent reluctance toward media appearances. For those unaware, Jutta Leerdam remained distant from Dutch media during the 2026 Winter Olympics, which drew some criticism. Yet, she is also very active on social media. So, it could simply be her competitive nature that prompted the honest reaction.
Still, the Swedish-American viral streamer Marlon Lundgren Garcia chose to ignore her advice, jokingly claiming that he is also an Olympic champion.
“She’s an Olympic gold medalist,” Garcia said in the video clip. “So, I should probably listen to her. But I’m not gonna listen to her. Because I’m a gold Olympian.”
Well, as hard as it might be for Jutta Leerdam to face the camera, Marlon Garcia has built an entire career around it. He is a former basketball player who represented a Swedish league and later Colorado, but has never won an Olympic gold medal. Still, when it comes to following, he has over 2 million Twitch subscribers, which is quite a decent audience.

Now, it’s not the first time Leerdam has shared advice with someone. After her Olympic gold medal win, she also offered honest and heartfelt words to aspiring athletes.
Jutta Leerdam shared an inspiring message following a historic Olympic victory
The Dutch sportsperson Jutta Leerdam delivered a record-breaking performance at the 2026 Winter Olympics, winning gold in the women’s 1000m with a time of 1:12.31, surpassing her teammate Femke Kok. She was highly emotional after the victory, and even her partner, Jake Paul, was seen tearing up on camera in celebration.
But alongside her personal triumph, she also dedicated the win to aspiring women athletes. Leerdam later uploaded a picture featuring her signature winged eyeliner, symbolizing the victory, and shared a message that greatness can be achieved through hard work and dedication.
“This picture captured for me everything my Olympics stood for,” Leerdam wrote. “This moment proves that you don’t have to become less of yourself to achieve something great. That your looks don’t define you as a person or as an athlete. If you work hard and stay determined, it will all come together. It’s so ironic because my winged eyeliner (aka cat eye look) and makeup are something I’ve been judged for throughout my career, even though it just gave me confidence and made me feel feminine and powerful.”
“I did this for me, my younger self, my family, and for all women who don’t want to be put in a box and just want to be their authentic selves. A reminder that you can be soft and strong, disciplined and feminine, all at the same time. Never let anyone dim your light.”
That said, her advice does come across as genuine. The same mindset that drove her Olympic success also explains why she told the influencers to focus on the game. It was less about dismissing content creation and more about prioritizing performance in a competitive setting.
