Stipe Miocic’s triumph over Daniel Cormier has sent the world of MMA into a frenzy, especially the heavyweight division. After all, we have an all-new heavyweight GOAT. However, there are fighters already lining up for the GOAT status. And one of them is Jon Jones.
Immediately after the fight ended, ‘Bones‘ took to Twitter in anticipation of a super fight with Miocic. But there was someone else already waiting to get his hands on Heavyweight gold- Francis Ngannou. Upon coming across Jones’ Tweet, ‘The Predator‘ courteously asked Jones to wait his turn.

“Come on Jonny, I’m still here.”
Well, any one of the ‘Big Boys’ would want to get their hands on ‘Stone Cold‘ next. And even though Jones is prepared to meet the titleholder, the UFC has Ngannou in mind for Stipe’s next defense.
Will Jon Jones battle Francis Ngannou for a shot at Heavyweight gold?
Even though the idea of a Heavyweight clash between Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones met a dead-end back in May, the transformed scenario of the division may allow room for the bout to materialize.
Both fighters are gunning for a fight for the title. And Jones will make his Heavyweight debut through whoever he fights first.
