Things have not gone according to Naomi Osaka’s plans in recent months. After pulling out of the French Open midway through the event, she was seen directly at the Tokyo Olympics. However, she ended losing in the early rounds and failed to win a medal for her country.
However, things have started shaping up positively for Naomi Osaka. She is currently in New York, defending her title at the US Open 2021. She won the opening round match comfortably in straight sets. Interestingly, the one thing that caught my attention was when she decided to hand over a memento to a young girl sitting in the stands.
When she spoke about this incident, the Japanese star stated, “Actually, I just heard her when I was playing my match and she was so cute, thank you for cheering me on. In the Olympics, we got some little pins that we were supposed to pass around to other players like training pins and I wasn’t there for a long time so I’ve got a couple in my bag leftover. But yeah, I thought it would be a nice memory.”

Naomi Osaka is supreme on the hardcourts
Coming to her season, Osaka started off on a great note, winning her second Australian Open title. However, things began to go down the order as she failed to win any tournaments after. Just before the French Open began, she announced that she wouldn’t be interacting with the media post matches.
Soon after, she withdrew from the French Open before the second-round match. Later, she decided to skip the Wimbledon Championships and was unimpressive at the Tokyo Olympics.
