18-year-old Jesus Ramos, who being considered as an exciting prospect in the junior welterweight category picked up an impressive win on Saturday’s FS1 card from Bakersfield, California, knocking out Ricky Edwards in the third round.

Ramos, due to his age had to fight his first eight bouts in Mexico. Then in April of this year won a fight in Phoenix before making his PBC debut in June in Las Vegas, beating Kevin Shacks by decision over four rounds.
18-year old Jesus Ramos, on his television debut on Saturday against 29-year old Rickey Edwards, dominated the fight before finally taking him to the corner and gave a cleanleft hand to knock out Edwards incredibly in the third round. Though Edwards had his hand high in an attempt to block the punch, he could not stop the left hand hitting his face.

Referee Jack Reiss immediately waved off the copetetion.
