Christian Edwards defeated Cesar Bennett, knocking him out in 16 seconds
21-year old Christian Edwards needed just 16 seconds to Knock Out Cesar Bennett out of the match in the Bellator 233 on Friday.
Edwards, a product of Jackson Wink MMA in Albuquerque, N.M., brought out a vicious head kick with his left foot that hit Bennett on his chin, Knocking him out of the match.

This was Edward’s second pro fight match, winning both in Bellator. His debut in July, like this match, was short lived. The light heavyweight prospect won his debut in a 54 seconds via a Technical Knock Out (TKO).

There was another match that finished within 16 seconds, but was owing to an injury to Jason Perrotta, giving victory to Romero Cotton. There was also another first round Knock Out by Andrew Kapel who defeated King Mo within one minute and 22 seconds of round 1.
