Even though tennis players are often seen to be very serious on court, off the court they often indulge in a lot of humor and banter. And now, with the ATP Finals 2020 going on, some participants in the tournament have indulged in a pyramid building content. Novak Djokovic, Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev were some of the successful ones to complete the challenge.
In a funny contest by the ATP, six of the eight participants of the ATP Finals attempted the challenge. Straight away, we could say that Thiem and Zverev started off the best. And Djokovic was the one who started the worst.

But Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev suffered heartbreak as their pyramid collapsed upon placing the last ball on top. Diego Schwartzman‘s pyramid was a mess whereas Alexander Zverev was silently building his pyramid.
Tsitsipas although would love to let the tennis ball flow off his racket on the court, here in the challenge, he was frustrated with the base of the pyramid moving around.
“Why is this moving? Why is the ball moving? Just stay there!”
Although most of them had a lot of fuss, Zverev and Thiem easily completed the contest. Zverev was the quickest of all, having completed the contest in 35 seconds. Second came Thiem, who completed the challenge in 53 seconds.
After his win, Zverev made a cheeky comment: “I know how to handle tennis balls I guess.”

Djokovic finished third as he just about got the pyramid done in 1 minute and 59 seconds. After completing it, Djokovic celebrated with the iconic celebration of soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo.
ATP Finals 2020 update
Going back to the tennis court and in four days we already have the group winners. Dominic Thiem has won the “Group London 2020” whereas Daniil Medvedev has won the “Group Tokyo 2020.”

Both Novak Djokovic and Rafa Nadal will have to win their remaining group match each to advance into the semifinals. With their omission at stake, the ATP Finals has moved into its business end.
