American tennis star Serena Williams has been one of the most inspirational athletes. The struggles she has gone through during the early days have been immense and for her to dominate over all these years is commendable. 

At the moment, Serena Williams is on a vacation with her husband Alexis Ohanian. From the looks of it, the pair seem to be in the Bahamas enjoying their time. After the grand opening of her movie King Richard, as well as her wedding anniversary, this getaway was very much deserved.

Ohanian posted a clip on social media. In that clip, Serena can be seen swimming in the shallow waters of the Bahamas. He commented, “Mermaid?” However, their daughter Olympia was not to be seen around on this outing. Over the years, the three of them travel to various destinations throughout the year.

Serena Williams is often seen with her family 

Having such a busy schedule, it is a wise decision for her to be accompanied by her family, especially since her daughter is young at a tender age. Citing for example, when they were in Rome earlier this year, the family went out to have some gelato. 

Coming to tennis, Williams began the season by reaching the semifinal of the Australian Open. After that, she lost in the initial rounds at the French Open. Sadly, she had to withdraw from her opening round match at the Wimbledon Championships. 

She injured herself by twisting her ankle and was forced to pull out of the match. Later, she decided to withdraw from the US Open due to a hamstring injury. She intends to come back stronger in the upcoming 2022 season. All eyes will be on her if she can win her 24th Grand Slam title.
