David Ortiz, nicknamed “Big Papi” once again lived up to his reputation as a top prankster while covering Game 3 of World Series. Undoubtedly his good vibes are contagious, adding fun elements to the live MLB coverage. Big Papi smoothly pulled off a prank on FOX Sports co-worker Alex Rodriguez which caught the entire panel off-guard.

In the ongoing World Series, all-star voices are offering unrivaled pregame and post-game analysis. Big Papi has teamed up with former rivals Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter, alongside Kevin Burkhardt as studio analysts. Big Papi is known for his unprecedented pranks.

The “MLB on FOX” studio crew, i.e., Ortiz, Rodriguez, Jeter, and Burkhardt, were engaged in a close discussion on and off-fields during the Game 3 World Series. During the FOX pregame show, when Burkhardt and Rodriguez were carrying on a casual discussion, Big Papi spooked Rodriguez with a snake in front of his face.

Also known as A-Rod, the MLB veteran was terrified for a split second before realizing it was a prank. He easily fell victim to the hilarious prank by Ortiz. This exchange drew laughs from the entire crew. The host and sports presenter, Kevin Burkhardt had a hilarious response.  He said, “I can’t believe that works. I am not gonna be able to sleep tonight,” while laughing uncontrollably. Not only this, but the entire prank even made Derek Jeter giggle. Fans are always in awe of Big Papi’s trick. One of them commented, “It SLAYED me! Get ‘em, Papi!”

Who Won World Series Game 3: D-backs or  Rangers?

Arizona Diamondbacks hosted the Rangers at Chase Field for the World Series Game 3. With the tie-up performance, Game 3 marked a crucial standpoint for both teams. While the Rangers had won Game 1 in the extra innings, D-backs followed close behind in a 9-1 classic lead.
