Former tennis star Caroline Wozniacki was one of the most brilliant players on the Tour in her time. The former World No. 1 was at the top of the rankings for a total of 71 weeks in her career.  

In 2019, during the latter stages of her career, Wozniacki got married to former NBA star David Lee. Together, they form a power couple across the sporting world. Lee was often spotted with Caroline on the Tour for her matches.

Caroline Wozniacki tries her hand at basketball 

Recently, Wozniacki posted a clip on Twitter in which she was trying her hand at basketball. Since her husband was a renowned player, it is not hard to figure out why the Danish former player tried her hand in this particular sport.

As the short clip begins, Caroline can be seen taking a shot, and she aces it by getting it right on the first try, showing either her natural affinity for sports or a tongue-in-cheek comment. She captioned the video, “First take.” 

Coming to tennis, Wozniacki played her last tournament at the Australian Open 2020. After losing to Jessica Pegula in the semi-finals in a build-up tournament and the crashing out in the third round of the Slam, she decided it was time to hang up her boots.

Despite having announced her retirement, Caroline is very good friends with American star and 23-time Grand Slam winner Serena Williams. Together, they have been spotted attending various events even in recent times. 

It is always nice to see glimpses of the former star player from time to time. We wish her the very best in all her future endeavors.
