

Tristan Thompson seemed to have enjoyed the night where he scored a career-high 35 points. He posted a video on Instagram where he was celebrating with his teammates in the locker room.
Tristan was naturally at the centre of the celebrations with all the teammates concentrating on the man of the night.

With a career-high 35 points on Thursday, Tristan Thompson powered Cleveland Cavaliers’ comeback against Detroit Pistons.
With two minutes to play in the final quarter of the match, the Pistons were leading by two points. Derrick Rose fumbled and gave away an important possession that Tristan Thompson capitalized on the other, equalling the score with a dunk.

The game was still level with 24 seconds to go, and the ball was with the Pistons. With them failing to score, the game went into Overtime. The Cavaliers eventually managed to hold on to a three-point victory.

Apart from producing a career-high 35 points shooting 15 off 20, Thompson also took down 14 rebounds with seven of them being offensive. He also had three assists and blocked three shots.
On the night for Cavaliers, Darius Garland contributed with 20 points and seven assists while Kevin Love came out with 17 points and nine rebounds.

The thrilling overtime victory on Thursday was only Cleveland’s 11th of the 38 games so far in the season. Their 0.289 record is one of the worst in the league and they are third from bottom in the NBA Eastern Conference.
