South African legends Dale Steyn and AB de Villiers were playing against each other on Sunday in the Mzansi Super League.

As much as the battle of skill between them was fascinating to watch, the duo made it even more interesting, bringing about a smile on the faces of the viewers sharing a light moment on the pitch. During the 14th over of the match between Cape Town Blitz and Tshwane Spartans, de Villiers hit a full toss straight back at Steyn when he decided to have some fun with it.

Steyn walked up to de Villiers, threw the ball at the stumps, and raised his finger to suggest de Villiers was out as the batsman began to put the stumps back.

While de Villiers has retired from all forms of cricket now, Steyn is still available in the limited overs format and will be hoping to stay fit to play for South Africa.
