Over the years, Rafael Nadal has displayed some of the best tennis fans have ever witnessed. There are some shots that are now synonymous with the Spaniard. They’ve become so famous that they’re even emulated by some of the other top players in the game.
Recently, at the Rolex Paris Masters 2021, there was a matchup between Marton Fucsovics and Fabio Fognini. During that match, both players hit the trademark banana shot which fans have been used to seeing Rafael Nadal hit.

Rafael Nadal can create a sharp angle
The shot is hit with real venom. While executing the shot, there is a lot of topspin on it and that makes the ball move outside and before the ball bounces into the court, it takes a turn towards the inside. Especially when a left-handed player like Rafa, when they hit the shot, it looks much more ecstatic as lefties can create a sharp angle.
As we speak about the match between the Hungarian tennis player and the Italian veteran, the match went the distance. Eventually, the winner had to be decided in three tight-fought sets. Fucsovics won the match 6-1, 6-7 (8), 7-6 (5).
So nice these tributes to Rafael Nadal from Fabio Fognini and Marton Fuscovics 😍
