After missing three games with flu, Boston Celtics guard Kemba Walker returned for the game against San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday in the NBA only to see himself ejected.
In the third quarter, Walker argued with the referee for not making any call after going to ground on a screen from LeMarcus Aldridge. This drew a technical foul that was the second from Walker. This led to the 29-year old being ejected.
The game had to be stopped briefly when a fan threw a cup or bottle filled with beer towards the San Antonio Spurs bench. The play resumed soon after the court was cleaned.

“It’s the first time I’ve ever been ejected in my whole life … I’ve seen other guys do a lot worse but the choice was his, and he made it,” Walker said after the game as per Tim Bontemps of ESPN. “He got me out of there, and what can I do? At this point we lost, and we have another one tomorrow.”
It was reported that the spectator who threw the beer at the court was identified and arrested.
