Time changes everything, but usually, it’s more of a gradual process. The COVID-19 pandemic has not only disrupted our way of life, it is bringing in major alterations that are here to stay. Gaming has come right on top in these times. Online games, especially, have seen an influx of new players. And when we talk about online games, you simply cannot avoid talking about Fortnite Battle Royale. Epic Games released the BR title back in 2017, and in a year’s time, it had exploded into something of a cultural phenomenon.

Time warping in Fortnite

Coming back to the present, as we have already seen, many musical artists are not only taking to Fortnite to hold virtual concerts, they’re even debuting songs on there. Travis Scott’s Fortnite concert was quite an extraordinary spectacle. He debuted his new single called ‘Astronomical’ in the virtual space too. From the looks of it, world premiers in Fortnite are here to stay. Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie, Tenet, debuted a new trailer on the game on Thursday.

If you missed the trailer, you can take a look right here.

The movie will surely be a mind-boggling spectacle. But then again, what do you expect from a Nolan movie? While warping elements of reality and history are nothing new to the director, Tenet looks like it could easily be the most baffling one yet.

You can catch the movie on July 17. Hopefully, the whole COVID-19 fiasco will be well under control by then.

More to come

But wait, the partnership between Nolan and Fortnite does not stop there. Just as the trailer played in-game, another announcement was made. This summer will see Fortnite host a full-length screening of one of Nolan’s “iconic” movies. As for which movie that would be is anyone’s guess for now; after all, Nolan delivers iconic movies left, right and center.

We will certainly inform you of any news regarding the movie as soon as we know it.
