However, the up and coming boxer was knocked out for the first time in career.

Sanchez on the other hand improved his record to (15-1). Perhaps, Sanchez’s experience proved too much for Pina, as both fighters were a class apart during the fight.

The fight was televised by ESPN. The main card featured Emanuel Navarrete vs Uriel Lopez, with Sanchez and Pina fighting on the undercard.
